Garden Mosaics
grow courgettes on kitchen windowsill?
I’m new to gardening, and sadly don’t seem very green fingered.
I’ve grown some courgette plants from seed, the first one got (what I think was) mosaic virus so I put it outside and started some other plants – the first (virus) one was then immediately killed outside by the wind!
I now have two plants on my windowsill, they have 4 – 5 nice sizes leaves, but i am scared to plant them out because its pretty windy round here – can i just grow them fully on my kitchen window sill? Will they sill give me nice courgettes!?

Courgettes are large plants that grow 1-2 meters, and need very large containers to grow, so no, you can’t grow them on a windowsill. Cold is more likely to have killed them than wind, although delicate seedlings raised inside and set outside in the wind could be snapped off.
